What is NARM?
NARM therapy, which stands for NeuroAffective Relational Model, is a neuroscientifically-informed therapeutic approach specifically developed to address complex trauma.
Unlike traditional therapy that focuses solely on symptoms, NARM works on a deeper level by exploring how early relational dynamics have shaped a person's sense of self.
By examining how individuals adapted to childhood experiences of neglect, abuse, or chronic mis-attunement, NARM helps clients identify and change patterns of coping that may be limiting their current well-being.
Through a combination of mindfulness, body awareness, and understanding the impact of early attachment relationships, NARM aims to foster self-regulation and create new, healthier ways of relating to oneself and others.
